big thank you to my daughter for calling this style to my attention. They're apparently a recent release from the fashion house of Vivienne Westwood. Bless her and her crew for thinking they could get the original asking price for them. The drop in price has been so precipitous, I'd worry about instilling buyer's remorse in anyone who did purchase a pair when they first came out.
Interestingly, even though everything about them screams "CLOG!", the product description refers to them merely as wedges. Wanda Wedges, to be exact. Available in cognac and navy. (I'm personally not a big fan of navy, but with those red soles they've paired them up with, I can certainly have a change of heart.)

Our fellow clog fan and regular reader from Arizona, Melissa, dropped by my Inbox with this message about a Swedish Hasbeens shoe, style name Laila, that she spotted on 6PM.com:
"Look! Dyed soles to match in pink or orange! I thought if you instantly👍🌈"
To which I can only say, "YEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!"
You know me well, Ms. M! If there's any way to take a clog to the next level, I'm there!

Speaking of Swedish Hasbeens, I would so rock these clog sandals featured on one of their recent e-mailings.
Apparently, it's a style they offer on sale at the moment named Velcra.
Also available in a few other colors and in a slip-on version.

Oh, and if you like chunky soled clogs, the Swedish Hasbeens Gullan is worth a look, too. They describe it as "a mix between the classic Braided Hasbeens style and the new edgy elephant plateau heel.

A while back I also heard from a reader out west who wrote about some wood-soled sandals that she describes as "beautiful...like butterflies" and "summery and unique." Well, you'll always get my vote for anything that's unique. And this is certainly the season for styles like this one, the Enny platform sandal from Diesel (available through NordstromRack.com).
"Since my job teaching is almost done for the summer, I'm thinking of shopping and summer clog outfits a lot lately!"

Oh! Just ran across a different e-blast from Swedish Hasbeens, this one for their Hasjeans. But those skinnies paired with the chunky Velcra sandal I was raving about above just look too perfect!

Regular reader Carl from Maryland wrote to share news about some wooden goodness he just acquired.
"My special order Troentorps arrived! It was the best decision Ive ever made for a clog purchase, because wow these are great. I've included a picture of them for you to share on the blog. These fit the most comfortably out of all my clogs, so I think I've found a new favorite pair..."
Woo-hoo! We're all in favor of favorite shoes here! Carl originally wrote and said that this combination of dark sole and olive nubuck upper wasn't officially listed on the Troentorps website. But they clearly came through with his special request. That deserves another "Woo-hoo!"

Meanwhile, there are these exquisitely unusual wood-soled platforms by Cinzia Araia worth contemplating on Yoox.com.
The good news, if you like your shoes on the offbeat side, is that there are more intriguing creations to be found on the Yoox site.
The bad news, if you're like me and blessed with tall size feet, is that you won't be adding them to your footwear arsenal. Pardon me a moment while I tear up.

And remember those cool new clog boots I told you about from EFerro a couple posts back? I've got some news on placing an order and some more faboo pictures to share. Coming soon!
I adore these clog boots, and the fact that you can design your own. But the cost of shipping is almost as much as the boots! I've never seen a boot as adorable as these.

Cynthia: "Adorable." That's the perfect word for some of those eferro clog boot designs! I wish shipping were less, but I find it's often worth it for the sake of getting that pair of shoes you couldn't come by any other way.
