've got a couple more shoe sightings to share. And perhaps even more importantly, I've got a rare shoe sale to share, too. Do you really need more shoes? Unless you've clicked on some e-tailer's Submit My Order button in the past twenty minutes, the answer is a definite "yes". And if you have made an extremely recent purchase, just go over to the movie trailers page on the Apple website and wait 'til a sufficient amount of time has passed.

Jeffrey Campbell Munster boots
What can I say? This style is extreme in all the right ways. I mean, just look at that massive wooden sole! The only other shoe i can think of that has rocked this hard would have to be Helga boots from Deandri. But the Munster deserves special attention because our fellow footwear fanatic from down under, Philip, is the man who is working them!
Philip writes,
The size runs large but [they] are very easy to walk on. They are solid wood and light for their height.
I can do nothing but gaze upon this photo with envy.

Men's chukka clog boots from Ugglebo/Sandgrens
Just in case you missed the news yesterday, Ugglebo (who are changing their name to Sandgrens) has released that wood-soled chukka clog boot they hinted at earlier this year. Just scroll back a day on ECHID to find the appropriate link to the Sandgrens web page for this men's style.

John Fluevog on an Octogenarian
Speaking of people who rock, regular reader Grace treats us to this unique image.
[The] weekend before last we were with Mom celebrating her 85th Bday, and she was happily wearing the Fluevogs she purchased in Toronto a year and a half ago---she loves them! And she was delighted to model them for a photo op. Fleuvogs are ageless!
Grace, I can only hope I'll be wearing shoes that cool when I reach your mother's age. She is an inspiration to us all!

Sale at No. 6!
This Manhattan based designer rarely sales like this one so when an opportunity like this comes along, it's worth taking note.
Maybe it's time to pay a visit to the No. 6 online store.

[On my feet as I blog: did someone mention No. 6? I swear I don't plan these coincidences out in advance. It just worked out that I actually did have on a pair of No. 6 boots while I composed this post.]
