hooey. I couldn't find the perfect video to accompany this post. Actually, it wasn't the video I was looking for. It was the audio. When I think of the times I've taken my kids to see fireworks on the 4th of July, I can hear the explosions in my mind's ear and the musical soundtrack that sometimes accompanied them. But I also can hear the reactions of the crowd around me.
"OOooo!"
"Aahhhhh!"
"OoohhhHHH!"
"Yeaahhhhh!"
And that's just what I wanted to provide you with today. A brief YouTube video that I would have embedded right up top here. And then I would have instructed you to click play and immediately commence to scroll slowly down the page. As each new vintage clog came into view, your own personal reaction would have been complemented by the general astonishment of the gathered masses at the wonders they were beholding. I mean, isn't that what you feel sometimes when you happen upon a collection of photos of intriguing footwear? Sometimes it's all I can do to keep from clapping when I come to the end.

(Have I posted this pair before? Melissa pointed them out to me the other day, and I wanted to write back and say I put them on a Saturday Flea Market once before. But all my searching in the ECHID archives drew a blank. Oooo! Ahhh! They do put on quite a show, don't they?
