here, oh, where are the men's clogs? I'm not opposed to featuring wooden goodies from the men's half/corner/shelf of the store. But I'm finding precious little to talk about. Phooey. However, if you'll allow me to stretch the rules a wee bit, I do have a few items that could be of some interest. I'm not able to report about the men's clog to answer all my readers' hopes and desires, but I can tell you about a few things that might tide you over.

Lynnea clog boot from UGG Australia
A lot of clog fans who take a taller size lit up when UGG came along with a number of their styles in sizes up to 12. But the higher price tag kept most of them sitting on the sidelines. Now this popular clog boot style has surfaced on 6pm.com for only $119.99. Combine that with free shipping and 30 days to return the item, and it makes sense to give these a whirl in your own wardrobe. If I hadn't spent so much on shoes this month already, I'd be pouncing on the Chocolate Burnished pair. I have the comparable Rosabella knee high boot from UGG (made on the same base with the same last), but in a size 11 which is just a smidge short for my 11" feet. But I'm sure the 12 would be my Goldilocks pair: just right.
Or for $80.00 more, I notice that 6pm.com carries this variation up to size 12.
I'm guessing most guys would prefer to wear this boot with the cuff turned up. So I'm publishing a couple shots of it in that orientation to aid you in envisioning it on your feet.
Pics, please, if any of you take the plunge. Just for the record, here's how the Rosabella knee high looks on me:

Sanita colored outsoles are available
I posted about these not long ago. Like a week ago Thursday. And at the time, they were only just a dazzling graphic on the Sanita website. But not anymore. Now The Clog Outlet has them listed on their website. And you can find factory seconds on all the colored outsole clogs in just about every size. Even up to 42. It's such an unexpected way to brighten up a pair of clogs.
UPDATE: Regular reader George points out:
You're apparently like me -- hardly ever bothering to click the Men's link -- but some of the Sanita colored soles are available up to size 47.

Philip's Phootwear
I've heard from enough people who've enjoyed having a peek at what's on the racks in the collection of our clog loving friend from down under that I'm planning to keep that series going. And I can tell you, Philip has sent me enough photos to keep us all in serious stages of envy for weeks. Among the coming attractions,...
...Steve Madden clogs,...
...Candies clogs,...
...and Dutch style shoes. (OMG! He's got a plastic Clogh from the Brazilian Melissa line! OMG!)

George: Ya know, sometimes clog makers can just surprise us! Thanks for the tip!

I gotta say, if it were raining money in my house, I would probably get a pair of Lynneas in every color. I'm wearing my only pair today and thanking my lucky stars for a pair of toasty boots to tromp through the new-fallen snow. I would also be happy if Miz Mooz would make those Howsers in more colors. (RED! Please!! Anyone, red? j/k.sorta)
Also, Phillip: Those Steve Maddens are VERY fetching on you. And I want those Candies. They remind me of a pair of Danskos I have in a dandelion color that I hardly ever wear because they're on a flat-ish manmade sole. If I could have them on a wooden heel, I would be so much more inclined to work them into my wardrobe on a regular basis.

Tea: No-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o! I didn't want to be tempted to purchase the Lynneas at this better price! Fortunately, I just had to buy a new dishwasher so I'm better able to resist than usual.

Lindsey: I feel it's only fair to reciprocate on the clog-pusher front. The Lynneas are perfect. They are perfect, I tell you. And what's a tad over $100 compared to the price of a dishwasher? Drop in the the bucket. If you go with a scratch and dent model, you can work the Lynneas into the dishwasher price. ;)
Just kidding. Don't do it. Or do.

Tea: You'll be happy to know I just ordered them.

Uh oh, Tea: I just bought a pair, too; are you sure you're in the right line of work? You could be my personal enabler... er... shopper!
Posted by: Melissa Krebs | 02/25/2012 at 06:41 PM
Ha! So glad I could influence both of you. Of course, I'm picturing the two of you sitting laptop-to-laptop hitting "buy" together, which somewhat bespeaks a little influence you could be having over each other. ;)
But when I need a break from this next career, I'll keep personal enabler / shopper in mind.
p.s. What color did each of you get? Or will I have to wait for the photos?
