ou love clogs, right? You indulge in a little of shoe therapy from time to time, too, I'll bet. Well, what could be more perfect than a chance to win some new kicks...for free?
Fredrik, the Marketing and Brand Manager at Ugglebo, asked the other day if I'd like to give away a pair of clogs on my blog. I said, "Gladly! And feel free to send along a few styles for me to test drive, too." Well, while I sit here waiting to see if he thought I was kidding, you have a chance to score a free pair for yourself. Just as Ugglebo states right there on their website:
Our mission is to create raving fans by making our customers’ day a little bit better.
And this, my clog loving friend, is your chance to become a raving fan.

As you might guess, I'm not just looking to give away a pair of clogs. I'm looking for my fellow clog fans to create some images and anecdotes that will be fun and entertaining to post in the weeks to come. Sure you can write a brief explanation of how some new clogs will brighten your day or take a photo of an outfit that's just calling out for one of the styles you see on www.uggleboclogs.com. But you should also feel free to stretch your creative wings and send in something unexpected. Entries must arrive by midnight Chicago time on February 19th, 2012. Fredrik from Ugglebo and I will be reviewing entries for the one that clearly demonstrates how their clogs will indeed make your day better. We'll choose one winner and award that person with a free pair of Ugglebo clogs. If our winner is within the U. S., the shoes will be shipped for free. If our winner is outside the U. S., shipping charges will be the winner's responsibility. Did I leave anything out?
Good luck.

And if the possibility of free clogs isn't enough to get your heart beating a little faster, how about clogs at 50% off? This news from Ugglebo just appeared in my Inbox this month:
Take a quick surf over to their Special Offers pages. There are some sweet looking shoes there. (93 items, to be exact, though many appear to be sold out or available only in limited sizes.) I'm just publishing a few to whet your appetite here. I'll let the price reductions on the Ugglebo site get you licking your chops for real.

[On my feet as I blog: these Double Strap Low Lace Up clog boots from Swedish Hasbeens are just the perfect wear 'em anywhere shoes in winter.]
Totally unrelated to your post, but I just have to share my excitement: I've been away from work for a week. While I was gone, my purchases arrived. I am now the proud owner of a pair of Sanita Elm boots and a pair of Karen Kells kind of like these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/81737574/clog-shoe-faded-beige-brown-paisley but with snowflake design on antiqued white! EEEEEEEK! I'm SO elated. It's been a while since I purchased any shoes, and these were well worth the wait. Of course, with the weather the way it is, I suppose it's easy to decide which to wear first, but now I'm so looking forward to summer and parading around in my new sandals.
