Remember these gorgeous designs?
The other day I was chatting online with Annie Mohaupt, the creator and chief architect behind the structural delights known as Mohop Shoes, and she mentioned that she'd just finished a promotional video revealing the magic that brings her fabulous creations to life.
By the way, if you've been considering ordering a pair of Mohop Shoes for the holidays (or asking Santa to bring you a pair), you might want to take Annie's suggestions to heart:
For custom wood-soled shoes, it's best to place an order by December 11th, but everything else can be ordered up to about 3 days before Christmas to be delivered in time.
We also just launched the line of flats, and they are totally customizable until the end of the year. Custom handmade shoes for only $77! I think that's a great deal. ;) But alas, they are not wood-soled, so I'm not sure if that's a good fit for the blog. [Ed. note: You'll find them here.]
Well, Annie, I've made exceptions before for a worthy cause. I'm more than happy to spread the word for you!

This just in: Annie tells me she's just dreamt up a line of wood soled sandals for men! And she sent pictures as proof. They're every bit as gorgeous as her girl shoes. (And I'm sure there will be a few women inquiring about buying them in their own sizes.) Stay tuned to see these lovely sandals (lovely in a masculine kind of way) this Guy Day Friday!

Annie, if you're reading, what a great promo piece! I am showing that to all my girlfriends in the hopes their guy friends want to treat them to a sexy pair of shoes! And Lindsey, as ever, thank you for introducing us to Mohop originally and again!

WoW! As a geekette and clog lover this is awesome. I love seeing how these are made. When I get married again I will order a pair. In the meanwhile I'll have to get a pair to tide me over until then. :-)
