I hope you'll forgive me for "sleeping in" on New Year's Day. I'm re-posting a feature from a year ago October. You've seen that little photo of clogs arranged in the shape of a "C" that adorns the top of the left column of this blog. If you've ever wondered what shoes I have pictured there, here are the gory details. The real question now is how many of these have I sold since then in order to make room in my closet for new styles?

[On my feet today: after I click "Save", I'll be getting dressed for my own New Year's Eve plans. The Coco clog boot from Vince Camuto is a strong contender. Depends on whether it works well with the leather jeans I have in mind.]
I am very interested in obtaining the Mia Huarache Clog. Can you give me a style name or any other info so that I might be able to find it online?

Thanks for asking. It's a lovely sandal clog that has gotten me through a couple of summers now. I've owned two pairs (though I've since sold one), but I missed them when MIA first released them...oh, I don't know how many years ago that was now. Both of my pairs came from eBay. And I don't recall either seller providing a style name. I found them using the eBay Saved Search feature using the terms "Mia" and "clogs". I'd be leery of throwing the term "huarache" in, though. You could miss a listing because the seller didn't use that word in the item description. Or didn't spell it properly. (You'd be surprised the shoes you can sometimes find by searching for "colg".)
