"Well, hello there. This is your left foot talking. The right foot and I have been noticing how many gorgeous shoes there are out there right now. Sumptuous leathers. Luscious colors. Creative designs. Styles that we just couldn't keep ourselves off of if we were eyes. We wanted to let you know that if you ever want to slip one of these shoes on us, we'll be right there for you. Ready to tingle all over with the novelty of the experience. Ready to wiggle our toes appreciatively inside. Ready to go for a walk around the room to give those new kicks a try. We assure you, you'll be delighted. The neck is prepared to hold your head a little higher. Both legs have promised to stand a little taller. And we've worked out an arrangement with all ten toes to make certain you'll feel the pleasure right down to them. So go ahead. Slip one of these clogs on a foot. Then the other. And, ooooohhhhhh, what fun we'll have!
Shoes of wonder! Shoes of delight! We long for your embrace. Oh, come to us now and fulfill our existence as feet!
'Til next week, when some new style will make us yearn with desire all over again!"

1. 6-eyelet lace up clog boots from Rocket Dog
No, they're not wood soled. But the design has its own unique appeal. And even a confirmed wooden shoe fanatic such as myself has been known to loosen the reins of orthodoxy when a style is appealing enough. Maybe this is just such style for you.
***CAUTION: MANMADE MIDSOLE***
Available through ScorpioShoes.com.

2. Platform clog from Dico Copenhagen
It's your basic high heeled clog complete with that chunky block heel we've grown to love thanks to Charli-C (and Karly L., too), but this time with the sort of minor variations that diehard addicts (such as myself again) can truly appreciate. For example, the stud fastened strap over the instep. And the heft of the platform in the front. I know I own shoes very similar to this one already, but it turns my head all the same.
Available through UrbanOutfitters.co.uk.

3. Platform clog boot from Dico Copenhagen
Basically the same shoe as above, but in a pull on clog boot design. Yes, I'll take one of these, too.
Available through UrbanOutfitters.co.uk.

4. Suede ankle boot from Urban Outfitters
Solid wood where it counts, but with none of the nail head details that make us clog fans swoon. But that's nothing to quibble about. They still look smashing. What's my order up to now? Three pairs? Four?
Available through UrbanOutfitters.co.uk in black and tan.

5. SImba lace up clog boot from Miss KG
The younger sibling of UK fashion staple Kurt Geiger delivers a truly stunning clog boot. If only a shoe like this were truly practical for a trip in the wilderness, I would certainly develop an interest in hiking!
Available through Kurt Geiger.
(Sorry the images are all crowded
over to the left. That's just how
they were designed.)

7. Mystery clog
Oops. I found this one in Google Images with a link that took me to LetsBuyIt.co.uk and a "Sorry, this product is unavailable" page for Silvano Sassetti Footwear. Don't know anything more about them than that. But they were so distinctive, I had to share.
