Now why didn't I think of this sooner? You visit Every Clog Has Its Day because you love clogs, right? And while you might enjoy looking at pictures of intriguing new styles and reminiscing over great photos of clogs past, you probably fancy actually purchasing a pair or two for yourself from time to time. So how can I do you a service and point you toward the best clog makers on the web on a regular basis? I put on my IT cap and rolled up my knit top sleeves and got to work under the hood of this blog to see what I could come up with. And the result is the new feature that's located in the left hand column named Clogs: The List.
I went through my web bookmarks and my mental Rolodex to come up with all the clog makers and clog designers I knew of that merited your attention. You'll find everything from manufacturers of traditional Swedish clogs like Sven's and Troentorp to clog brands from far flung corners of the planet such as funkis and Cravo & Canela to creators of inventive wood soled shoes like mohop and There Goes The Neighbourhood to designers of more traditional fashion footwear who have a soft spot in their hearts for wooden soles like Calleen Cordero and Cri de Couer.
I don't consider this list to be exhaustive or definitive. By all means, if you know of a clog maker worthy of inclusion, please pipe up and let me know. By the same token, if down the road you discover a link that's out of date or learn that one of the manufacturers has gone out of business, please let me know about that, too. I will do my best to keep this list up to date and useful, and I could certainly use a hand.
It's my fervent hope that Clogs: The List will be of some value to you. At least one reader has let me know that she stays away from my blog because every time she visits, she ends up buying something. Clogs: The List may make her life a little bit harder, but I hope the rest of you will enjoy the breadth of the selection...and the opportunity to practice self-restraint on a grander scale.

[On my feet today: those fur lined Kybele clog boots from Nine West are plenty cozy on a snowy winter morning, I must say!]
Adding the links to the clog sites was a great idea! Thanks for doing all of the research for us. Happy New Year!!!!

Just promise me you'll come back and look at the rest of my blog from time to time! : )

First: That is awesome! Thanks!
Second: I'm wearing the same shoes today. Toasty indeed :)
(I'm still wearing them just in the house, though, because I'm not sure if I should trade them in and get Lynnea instead - as it seems a bit more practical and only slightly less foxy.)

Well, I always go for the higher heel when it fits, but I have to admit that the Lynnea from UGG is more versatile. You can wear the sides up or down, as I recall.
