I'm afraid this batch of clogs truly qualifies as vintage vintage. Not only are the shoes old, but so are the auctions and postings I found them on. If the charge is procrastination, I enter a plea of guilty. With the current furor over wooden footwear, I've had my hands full just keeping up with new releases and placing orders for shoes of my own. In fact, only this morning I happened to be wrapping up a project around 2:00, and I thought I'd take a peek at a pair Jeffrey Campbell clog boots that had sold out of my size in only 5 days. And it's a good thing I did. The retailer had an 11 posted once again! So after I took a moment to do a victory lap around my desk chair, I placed my order and stumbled off to bed with visions of shoe platforms dancing in my head. In a word, it's busy where I live. So I know you'll understand when I explain that I just couldn't get around to putting these rare finds online any sooner. It seemed more important to do a better job tracking down new releases than promptly posting oldies, but goodies. I am providing links to the original sellers should you wish to inquire whether the item actually sold...or was merely removed. Anyway, today is Saturday. Give that Bid Now button a day off and just enjoy the photos that your fellow clog wearers have made available. We can leap back into the clog acquisition fray soon enough!
