I love checking out pictures of clogs. Given enough money in my bank account and unlimited time to kill, I could easily spend hours and hours ferreting out the footwear treasures that the world wide web has tucked way. However, as satisfying an activity as that can be, it doesn't compare to the experience of actually owning and wearing some of those sensational shoes. I know you know that's true. And I know you often find yourself in the same position I find myself in: having to weigh the cost of this pair of shoes against that pair and figuring out how many of your latest "must have" discoveries you can actually afford.
Don't you just hate it when practicality rears its ugly head?
With this in mind, I'm happy to present a special discount offer from an eBay seller I've featured on more than one occasion before.
We've all spent time puzzling over online auction listings trying to figure out whether the material is leather or the sole is wood or if that size 8 actually will fit like a size 8. But once you seen a Bohemian-Wrap-City listing, you'll realize you've found an eBay seller who takes the responsibility very seriously. Every item (shoes, boots, jackets, skirts, shirts, and more) is carefully photographed from a number of angles. Flaws are not hidden from view, but clearly documented. The product descriptions are exhaustive (and lovingly organized). Want to know what an item is made of? It's all listed online in complete detail. The manufacturer's sizing is stated. And then for good measure, the dimensions of the shoe inside and out are painstakingly noted. Just what every eBay buyer would hope for: no surprises whatsoever. FInd something you like on a Bohemian-Wrap-City auction, and you'll quickly figure out if that shoe has your name on it or not!
You can see why I'm so fond Bohemian-Wrap-City, and why I look forward to treating you to glimpses of the vintage (and sometimes new) shoes listed there. As I was collecting images for yesterday's Saturday Flea Market post, I discovered that I'd amassed photos of nearly a dozen wooden clogs and sandals from the Bohemian-Wrap-City store. And the thought struck me: why don't I ask if I can get a discount for my readers in exchange for posting so many of the stunning wood shoes currently available? I sent off my request, and before the end of the afternoon I received my answer:
I think that is a GREAT idea!! I have just recently been thinking about offering some promotions to entice buyers. I would be
happy to offer a flat shipping rate of $2.00 (my normal cost is
$12.00) for all U.S. buyers.
So there you have it! If any of the shoes below catch your eye, follow the links to eBay and click the Buy It Now button as usual. But when you arrange to pay for that item, be sure to mention that you read about the listing on Every Clog Has Its Day, and you can save yourself $10.00 off shipping. Hey, that's been enough to tip the balance for me on many a purchase in the past. Here's hoping you find some inexpensive new finds to add to your personal clog rotation!
Mention this blog and receive a flat shipping rate of $2.00 for all U. S. buyers!
Simply click the link under each set of photos to go directly to the eBay listing.
(By the way, just so you know: I'm getting nothing out of this myself. I'm only in it for the satisfaction of building my blog, helping out a hard working merchant, and connecting shoes lovers with shoes they'd love to have.)

And finally, my little cautionary tale of the one that got away. I first spotted the vintage peeptoe clogs pictured below on Bohemian-Wrap-City on May 6th, but by the time I got around to posting them, the listing had expired or the shoes had been sold. Let that be a warning to adhere to the old maxim of shoppers everywhere: she who hesitates isn't lost. But that pair of shoes she wanted could be.

The size 9s from Candies? They were my favorites out of everything listed. Glad to know they found a good home!
