Stop me if you grow tired of hearing me extol the virtues of the internet and the wondrous way it brings together like minded individuals scattered across the face of the planet. If we were confined to our own little corners of the world, those of us with distinctive passions would be pretty much alone. But thanks to the world wide-ness of the web, we can find camaraderie and kindred spirits with just a mouse click or two.
Searching via that other internet wonder, Google, I happened upon apparellel.com, the fashion blog of Tessa, an L. A. based wardrobe stylist and fashion designer who loves to share the latest looks she's pulled together. Visiting blogs such as hers is not only a great way to get a look at what's out there, it's also a wonderful way to see what those goodies look like on an actual human being. And being an experienced stylist, Tessa knows how to make the stuff she wears look absolutely fabulous. (My favorite non-clog combo? The unconstructed jacket with Mexican peasant top over shiny black leggings and knee high orange and black moccasin boots she posted on 02/08/10.)
As is the case with many of us here at Every Clog Has Its Day, Tessa was smitten with the new Charlie clog from Jeffrey Campbell. One day she teased us that it would be a coming attraction.
A couple days later, she announced that it had arrived. And sure enough, there were photos over the next week or so to prove it. A big thank you to Tessa and apparallel.com for letting her pair of clogs have their day.
